A long time ago I came up with this idea for a Danny Phantom fanfiction. But of course, I never bothered to write it since it seemed so stupid. Anyway, it went something like this...
Samantha Manson is the bane of Sam's existence--quite a feat for someone who doesn't technically exist. However, for Daniel Fenton, Casper High's designated nobody, she's a dream come true.
Basically the idea was Sam's parents planned to send her to an ultra-posh private school till Sam made them a deal; she would play the part of the perfect daughter for her parents' public image (you know, play nice with all of their rich friends and rich friends' kids, volunteer at their charities, dress up for all their parties, etc.) but in return they would let her go to school where she wanted to go (namely, Casper High). On her own time, she could wear what she wanted, say what she wanted, and do what she wanted. And since Samantha and Sam were from different circles and of different appearance, no one figured out they were one and the same. The hair is actually a wig she wears when she's playing "Samantha". I got the idea for a blonde wig from another fanfic I read a long time ago, where Sam's parent's were so determined to mold her into the perfect daughter that they made her wear a wig of cutesy blonde curls practically since birth. The idea of her parents trying to force an identity on her at such a young age really got to me. Plus, I just wanted to give Sam an alter-ego. Danny, Val and Vlad all have one, so why not her? Eventually, misunderstandings were to occur as Sam got closer to Danny and Danny fell harder for "Samantha", but again I didn't want to bother to write it.
Polter Heights is the ritzy neighborhood that Vlad lives in in Amity Park, and where the Fentons move after the GIW buy their lab.
I'm embarrassed to say it took me all night to ink and color this, from sun down to sun up. And its frickin' winter, so he nights are loooong. I hate the pen tool, I really do.
